Si dileximus viventem,
diligamus mortuum.
Quis reuoluet ergo nobis
ab hostium lapidem,
Ut condignum sepulture
agamus obsequium,
Cuius mire bonitatis
sensimus solatium?
Ille quippe qui ferentem suscitauit lazarum,
eius et sorores flentes ad gaudium,
poterit ferre obtatum nobis adiutorium.
